Pastoral approaches such as our Positive Perspectives curriculum will aim to instil in girls the skills of self-reflection and empowerment, to help them gain the most from the experiences life will throw at them.

A continually evolving personal, social, health and economic education programme (PSHEE) and curated form-time activities will aim to encourage girls to think critically about experiences and information they encounter, and to look beyond the headlines and superficial information that is abundant in their lives. They’ll develop the ability to keep an open mind about situations, and the readiness to find solutions.

In the Junior School, where this journey begins, even our youngest girls are introduced to the language of emotional literacy. By being encouraged to name and understand their feelings they develop empathy and self-awareness, while PSHEE lessons are designed to help them navigate challenges with confidence, in a safe environment.
